Meet Dr. Owais Sultan

I am one of the lucky people who can say that they love what they do and do what they love. I enjoy coming into work and I enjoy working with my team.

One of my main objectives is to change people’s perspective on dentistry and create a positive experience for them. I am energized when I ease a patient who has dental anxiety. Seeing individuals change from being apprehensive to looking forward to their visits is rewarding.

• Doctorate of Dental Surgery – Indiana University School of Dentistry, 2013

My goal is to improve constantly, and try to become the best dentist that I can possibly be for my patients. Dentistry is an ever-changing field, which inspires me to keep up with the newest technology and techniques. My patients deserve to receive the most up-to-date and optimal care that one can provide.

At Monroe County Family Dental, patients will always find a new piece of technology that is being implemented into everyday use. As a team, we go through extensive training and we are always on the forefront of the latest techniques and latest equipment.

Outside the Office

I live in downtown Indianapolis, having recently moved here from Toronto, where I grew up. I have two sisters, one in Toronto who is also a dentist and the other who lives in Texas. My parents both live in Toronto, where they will be retiring soon.

When I am not at work or visiting with family, I enjoy watching movies and sports, and traveling.
